Cynthia Barker is the author of ‘How 2 Come to the UK’, published by Campion Books.
A qualified, registered Immigration Adviser, Recruitment Manager and Registered Care Manager, she has helped thousands of people successfully and legally come to the UK.
Cynthia specialises in all aspects of managed migration including Work Permits, Work Permit Extension, Highly Skilled Migrant Programme, Asylum, Entry Clearance, Leave to Remain, Further Leave to Remain, Students, Domestic Workers, Dependants, Civil Partners, EU/EEA.
As an immigration adviser, she is registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner.
Cynthia is a member of Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants, Association of Regulated Immigration Advisers, Professional Speakers Association and Toastmasters International. She practices as an immigration law practitioner at Overseas Consultancy Services, a work permit specialist consultancy firm providing immigration services for individuals, families, private clients, organisations, agencies, companies and employers.
As a registered care manager, Cynthia also assists care homes in organising overseas employees’ files and applications for work permits and visas. Specialist skills in sourcing and placement of overseas workers with UK employers and preparing correct legal documentation for them to enter and remain in the UK.
Cynthia supports the overseas nurses’ welfare and actively supports various community organisations and charities in the UK.
Cynthia writes a column on several community newspapers and lectures at seminars on many aspects of UK immigration.
